Management Setup

The supreme decision making body for the CSCQBE is the Council, which is an assembly of the Coalition Networks and member organizations currently, 54 in number. Then there is an Executive Committee which operates as Board of Directors. The current members of the Executive Committee are Mr. George Jobe from CRECCOM (the Chairperson), Mrs. Margaret Ali from Save the Children Malawi (Vice Chairperson), Mr. Norman Tembo from CARE Malawi, Mr. Moses Kamanga from CCAP Livingstonia Synod, Mr. Bright Kampaundi from YOCRIS, Mr. Henry Kumwenda from PRISAM, Mrs. Abigail Suka from Sight Savers International, Mrs. Esther Msowoya from FAWEMA, and Mr. Innocent Chitosi from NAMISA.

The Coalition set up various sub committees to advise and conduct activities in thematic areas such as budget monitoring, research, Education for All, community mobilisation, advocacy and fundraising. The Coalition has a Secretariat that is based in Lilongwe, the Capital City of Malawi. The Secretariat has six members of staff. These are: the Coalition Coordinator, the Assistant Coordinator, the Finance and Administration Officer, the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation officer, a Secretary and a driver. The Secretariat managed by the Coalition Coordinator, that ensures the day to day running of the Coalition and acts as focal point for information about the CSCQBE. Presently, the Coalition Coordinator is Mr. Limbani Nsapato.
